| Additional info | The system operates according to the OFDM transmission mode, which is marked multiple carrier operation and is particularly suitable for transmission of digital video- and audio-signals. The transmission signal, which carries the data, may be modulated QPSK. 16QAM or 64QAM. One of the most important parameter for the robustness of the OFDM mode is the Guard Intervall. It prevents interferences caused by echo at least as long as the echoes are within the Guard Intervall. The “indirection” of the reflected signals may be up to 20km. Through the Guard Intervall a secure transmission from moving objects like cars or vehicles is guaranteed. |
