VideONet is meant to make the working processes easier for the end-user. This is done by integrating hardware on a server level and then presenting it in a clear and easily understandable interface, or in an external application. By focusing on hardware, we can never avoid its integrated bottlenecks or fully utilise the benefits of the technology. As in other areas, we need to let software become the primary steering instrument for modern CCTV.
