About Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies (CEA)
The Commissariat for Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies intervenes within the framework of four missions: - defence and security, - nuclear energy (fission and fusion) , - technological research for industry - fundamental research (material sciences and life sciences). The CEA is fully integrated into the European research area and exercises a growing presence at the international level.
