SeeSense announced recently that it has further enhanced its range of miniature camera solutions. SeeSense MD Nigel Paine said, “Success and steady growth has enabled us to take the company forward again. We are known as official distributors of the excellent range of Toshiba miniature cameras but in fact SeeSense has always worked to provide new solutions and innovative ideas to customers.”
SeeSense can now offer a range of compact high definition High Speed camera for slo mo applications. Although small and lightweight (only 63 x 63 x 68mm square and weighing less than 0.5kg) the IDT NX5 camera range is capable of attaining speeds and image quality comparable to larger camera systems. The 5 megapixel 30 bit colour sensor is capable of 650 fps at a full resolution of 2560 x 1920 and can be windowed to 1920 x 1080 to work at over 1,000 fps. Furthermore two of these cameras can be used as a compact stereoscopic assembly for 3D applications.
