ISC West 2011 saw demonstration of powerful video surveillance solutions by OnSSI, FST21 and Intransa |
"The combination of FST21's and Intransa's solutions further demonstrated the open platform benefits of Ocularis relative to both software and hardware," said Gadi Piran, President and Chief Technology Officer, OnSSI. "By working closely with leading technology partners, OnSSI gives users great flexibility in building their solutions."
SafeRise® is an almost human access control solution that utilises patent-pending second generation biometrics, a fusion of state-of-the-art voice, face, and license plate recognition technologies with sophisticated video, voice and behavioural analytics providing highly accurate recognition. The system provides easy, automated, and convenient identity management access for authorised tenants and guests, while maintaining the highest level of security. With no key, no cards, and no code, people become the key to smart access to and interaction with apartment and office buildings in the 21st century. When combined with Ocularis, SafeRise can be controlled on the same platform with all video surveillance system operations.
"The depth and breadth of OnSSI's comprehensive IP video management will enable FST21 to deliver the industry's most innovative access control solution with additional capabilities," stated Avi Lupo, FST21 America, CEO. "By partnering with OnSSI, we have the opportunity to add even more value to the SafeRise system and it is a key addition to the growing number of installations."

Intransa is displaying how the company's VideoAppliance server/storage products complement Ocularis. VideoAppliance server/storage products are designed for physical security systems including video surveillance, video analytics and access control, as well as industrial video and other critical applications. Intransa's Video and Data Management and Retention (VDMR) technology blends advanced server modules with integrated, scalable storage modules in a simplified, affordable package that is easy to install and operate.
Open architecture and collaboration with third-party vendors expand the benefits and functionality of OnSSI Ocularis software beyond its core video surveillance and security systems control capabilities. The new version of Ocularis demonstrated at ISC West provided much-increased functionality to organisations from entry to enterprise levels, offering better value than other video surveillance solutions in the market. Ocularis is offered in four different feature sets, all scalable to virtually any number of cameras at multiple sites. This allows users to meet their specific system needs and requirements - present and future - while offering alerting and video analysis features that until today were limited to enterprise-scale solutions. Users of all sizes and types are now able to boost the productivity of their entire security system, resulting in better security and lower cost of operation.
