Axxon&Friends aims to attract a wide range of members from the security industry
Axxon&Friends aims to attract all members of the UK security industry
Axxon&Friends is aiming to attract a mixture of traditional security installers, network integrators, systems integrators, specifiers, consultants and vendors with a view to rapidly grow its market share in the UK.  Specific focus will be on helping those involved in analogue-IP hybrid projects which still dominate the UK professional security market. Axxon&Friends will be geared to building collaborative relationships between the vendor and installer communities through a mixture of training and social events.

Axxon, which launched its professional video management platform - Smart Pro - earlier this month, wants to build a strong network of UK partners for this new video management solution.

Benefits for integrators and installers will include:

  • Axxon 1 day Foundation Training from mid-February 2010
  • 3 days of in-depth training & certification for those wanting to explore the full potential of Axxon's Intellect enterprise offering
  • Dedicated password protected partner website
  • Access to a regular calendar of social events including Formula One race days, gastronomy evenings and locally organised events around the country

To this end, Axxon's business development director, Luis Coello, will also attend the IP-in-Action Live Bucks IP User Group event to be held at the MK Dons Stadium in Milton Keynes on Thursday 3rd December 2009 and will be talking to potential partners at this event.

Luis Coello, EMEA business development director, Axxon, said: "At Axxon we recognise that doing business in the UK means building an eco-system of strong relationships and integration partnerships. We have ensured that the widest number of camera, access control, analytics, retail POS (Point of Sale) and building management systems vendors integrate with our solutions. Most of the big name vendors are already supported on our systems."

Axxon's Intellect platform is already regarded as the most comprehensive and advanced open IP network video management system in the market today

Axxon&Friends is designed to help Axxon extend its reach deeper into the integrator community.  In the UK, Axxon's initial focus is on supporting those integrators which are grappling with IP and analogue ‘hybrid' projects.

Part of Axxon's goal is to help take the pain out of hybridisation with a view to driving deeper adoption of holistic video management systems which can act as the nerve centre of any robust security or building management system.

Luis Coello, EMEA business development director, Axxon, added: "Axxon&Friends enables us to understand more about the UK market through engagement with new channel partners.  These partners will also be equipped with the capability of integrating with or installing our video management solutions as the market for Axxon SmartPro and Intellect expands."

Axxon's Intellect platform is already regarded as the most comprehensive and advanced open IP network video management system (VMS) in the market today.  Its use at the heart of the European continent's largest public safety system - the Moscow ‘Safe Cities' project - proves its flexibility, capability and scalability to support up to 150,000 cameras.

Axxon Intellect provides a single environment for intelligent video analytics, plug and play IP connectivity and event-driven automation.  It integrates seamlessly with a wide range of analogue and IP security devices as well as business management systems, CRM, HR, quality control and retail POS. It has additional modules for the retail and transport sectors which offer integration to a comprehensive range of operational systems supporting these markets.
