CNL and Wavestore feel the need that distributed video intelligence should progress in physical security operations |
The two companies share a view that distributed video intelligence should move away from proprietary technology, which has long been a limiting factor in physical security operations. The partnership will therefore allow existing users of Wavestore and IPSecurityCenter™ to easily adopt technology from either manufacturer.
The Wavestore digital video recording system has an open platform architecture design able to record and display high quality images from combinations of analogue, network (IP and megapixel), HD, HD cctv and infra-red cameras simultaneously.
Chris Williams, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Wavestore commented: "We understand the importance of building and maintaining strong relationships with technology partners and CNL's PSIM technology is now without doubt widely accepted as part of the physical security mix. It's all about putting the customer first."
CNL's industry leading PSIM software, IPSecurityCenter, is the ultimate COTS integration and management platform. It connects and manages disparate building and security technologies such as video surveillance, life critical systems, radar, analytics, HVAC, PIDS, GPS tracking and GIS mapping.
"CNL is committed to working with the world's leading vendors as part of our Technology Alliance Program (TAP), and Wavestore certainly is one of these," adds Jon Lunnerfeldt, TAP Partner Manager at CNL. "As a COTS product, IPSecurityCenter users need the reassurance that our PSIM technology will integrate with their future upgrades, so we are proactively looking for best of breed systems to work with. Without these partnerships, there would be no open platform solutions."
