CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software and Aventura Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of video surveillance, long range laser/thermal imaging and multi sensor border/perimeter solutions, announced that they have formed a technology partnership, allowing integration of key products into the IPSecurityCenter's PSIM platform.
This technology partnership was accelerated by a joint US Safe City project which currently secures over 5 Million citizens. Over the past decade, Aventura has seen security evolve from an analogue black-box world consisting of cameras and VCR's to the world of video intelligence, server-based technology, advanced interoperability and enterprise solutions. Integrating with an enterprise level PSIM solution will enable Aventura customers to integrate their existing security applications and future technologies to create network centric centralized command and control suites.
Frances Cabasso, President of Aventura said, "We are currently seeing a huge shift in the global security industry to open platform solutions that work with other leading manufacturers. Our work with software vendors like CNL Software is proof that we are putting our customers' interest at the forefront of our technology development program. The key to success continues to be offering solutions that are intuitive and easy-to-use while providing the maximum persistent surveillance architecture."
Matthew Kushner, CNL President, of Americas says, "We are pleased to partner with Aventura, they have a strong presence in the US Homeland Defense and Safe City market. We look forward to working with them on a number of projects over the next year."
This TAP partnership will certify seamless bidirectional integration of IPSecurityCenter with key surveillance products offered by Aventura Technologies. The TAP program was initiated by CNL to allow interoperability between disparate security technologies and companies. By way of showing a truly open approach to application integration, TAP partners can be provided with a Device Driver Kit (DDK) to design, build, test and provision their products to the entire CNL Partner Ecosystem.
