The capabilities of OnSSI's Ocularis platform integrated with the Software House C•CURE®9000 |
"This collaboration delivers practical value to customers by converging two of their most important security investments," said Mulli Diamant, Vice President of OnSSI. "C•CURE 9000 customers will be able to enjoy the most reliable, innovative and feature rich IP video platform with their access control solution."
The C•CURE 9000 and Ocularis integration merges the management functions of access control and video surveillance. At the heart of the new solution is the capability for customers to view, search, and play back video directly from the C•CURE 9000 monitoring station. The collaborative interface incorporates some of Ocularis' unique features, such as its virtual joystick, as well as the capability to create events and alarms based on status received from the video server and cameras, to trigger pre-programmed camera activity.
The combination of the two security applications, with a rich centralized management control platform, will enable enterprises to reduce the escalating costs of managing two separate yet related systems, in addition to providing the framework for improved security.
"We're pleased to work with OnSSI to provide our shared customers with solutions that complement and enhance the capabilities of C•CURE 9000," said Warren Brown, director of product management for Tyco International's Electronic Security Products. "These results exemplify the core objective of the Software House Connected program, which provides a process for partners to integrate and test their solutions with C•CURE 9000 to give our customers complete control of their video and access control system."
