MULTIEYE® Privacy Shield displays in a way that the identity of a person remains anonymous at any time |
Data protection officers and workers' councils, politicians, worried citizens and company owners have been controversially discussing the benefits of video surveillance and the risk of misuse of these data for years already. artec technologies AG now offers the solution for increasing security and crime detection rate and at the same time protecting respectable citizens from unjustified presentation.
MULTIEYE® Privacy Shield in combination with the MULTIEYE® management software and recorders displays all moving persons and objects in the Live image scrambled, so that the identity of a person remains anonymous at any time. However, due to the exact scrambling, all persons' actions will be clearly recognisable. The protection can even be increased by, for example, fading out certain image areas within the software.
The recorded videos are protected against unauthorised access on multiple levels. Automated data removal as well as a special software component, to protect from unauthorised use in the network, make a complete video surveillance security package compliant to the Data Protection Directive.
"PrivacyShield will open up completely new market areas, particularly in Germany. The positive feedback further encourages us to invest in the development of video information systems featuring more intelligence in analysis and privacy protection. It is one more product, with which we give proof of our capacity for innovation," comments Thomas Hoffmann, Managing Director of artec technologies AG, the new MULTIEYE® PrivacyShield.
"With our product PrivacyShield we are meeting a strong demand for using video surveillance to protect citizens in public spaces and at workplaces. At the same time we offer the operators of such systems the possibility to cope with the increasing concern regarding data security and privacy protection," says Jens Ringlstetter, VP Sales & Marketing of artec technologies AG.
