Pelco and Software House announce  integration of their video surveillance and access control platforms
Pelco by Schneider Electric and Software House, a part of Tyco Security Products, are pleased to announce the integration of their two platforms - the Pelco Endura enterprise class video surveillance system and Software House C-CURE 9000 access control and event management solution. The Endura and C-CURE9000 integration combines the strengths of both platforms into a single effective enterprise class security management solution.

"We are pleased to work with Pelco to provide shared customers with solutions that complement and enhance the capabilities of C- CURE 9000," says Warren Brown, director of product management for Software House technologies. "One of the core strengths of C-CURE 9000 is the ability to integrate video from many different video surveillance platforms into a truly unified user experience."

The seamless integration between Endura and C-CURE 9000 allows an operator to easily view and control all Endura video from the CCURE 9000 user interface and simplifies investigations by associating recorded video with events. For real-time monitoring, an operator is presented with video in response to events that C-CURE 9000 is tracking. Single and multi-camera views can be displayed manually or automatically, providing a visual assessment of an event as it unfolds.

Direct control of a camera's pan, tilt and zoom capabilities allows an operator to closely monitor an incident or to follow a suspect. Pan/Tilt control also can be automated by using pre-set positions and patterns to position cameras in response to an event.

"We are very excited by this integration. Our development teams worked together to establish a high level of interoperability between our two platforms, combining the strength from both into a single efficient enterprise class security management solution for our customers," says Dave deLisser, Director of Integration and Partnering at Pelco by Schneider Electric.
