Counter flow: to automatically pinpoint vehicles moving in the wrong direction and immediately alert security officers to the possible security threats. Vehicle counting: to estimate the number of vehicles passing through the tunnel at any particular point in time, for recognising traffic congestion and preventing over-crowding.
