Teletec Connect to distribute Mirasys' CCTV and video surveillance solutions in Nordic region
The alliance concentrates on the implementation of end-to-end IP-based CCTV systems in the Nordic region
Mirasys Ltd., a provider of open platform digital CCTV and video surveillance solutions, announced a partnership with Teletec Connect, a distributor of electronic security products to professional installers and integrators.

The strategic alliance will concentrate on the implementation of end-to-end IP-based CCTV systems in the Nordic region, covering Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Mirasys has a strong market presence across the EMEA region, and following its move into Italy and Thailand earlier this year, the new partnership with Teletec Connect aims to strengthen and expand Mirasys' offering in the Nordic market. The new partnership will combine Mirasys' open-platform VMS platform with Teletec Connect's broad customer base and product portfolio, encouraging the uptake of IP-based surveillance solutions across the Nordic region.

"We are pleased to be working with Mirasys and look forward to marketing the company's proven surveillance software with our networking surveillance products as a combined offering. This collaboration strengthens Teletec Connect´s initiative to provide high-value IP surveillance products and solutions which are able to meet our customers' business needs both today and in the future," says Anders Thernström, CEO at Teletec.

The Nordic IP market has shown signs of growth and Teletec Connect have predicted that within three to four years, IP-based solutions will dominate by 80% in comparison to the current 50:50 split between the IP and analogue offerings.

"Working together with Teletec Connect will allow Mirasys to reach-out to installers across the Nordic region with strong IP-based surveillance solutions," said Jukka Riivari, CEO at Mirasys Ltd. "Both Mirasys and Teletec Connect are committed to providing accessible and flexible solutions to CCTV customers, which as a combined offering will make the inevitable transition from analogue to IP a much more simple and efficient process."
