KPMG employs a cost-effective yet sophisticated access control solution, the CEM AC2000 Lite
CEM Systems recently announced that financial company KPMG has chosen the CEM AC2000 Lite security management system to secure three of its offices in India. The IP-based CEM AC2000 access control solution will be installed by Tyco India.

To centrally secure KPMG offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Gurgaon, KPMG required a cost-effective, yet sophisticated access control solution. The CEM AC2000 Lite system met these requirements as it offered KPMG an IP-based access control system with feature rich software modules.

"In addition to access control functionality, KPMG India favoured the in-built AC2000 Time and Attendance module and the ability to issue professional ID badges to staff in each of the remote India offices using the AC2000 Visual Imaging & Pass Production (VIPPS) module."
The central component of the AC2000 Lite system is comprised of a single AC2000 Lite IP System Controller. An intelligent and networked device for alarm monitoring and door entry/exit control, the AC2000 Lite IP System Controller is configured via a web browser and resides on the network to connect readers via TCP/IP.
