Telecom Investments centralised its security for a 24 buildings with artec's MULTIEYE-HYBRID |
artec technologies AG, a leading manufacturer of network-based video surveillance, broadcast compliance and IPTV systems continues to expand its business activities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Tecom Investments, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding, has now centralised its security for a total of 24 buildings in three technology parks with artec's video surveillance system MULTIEYE-HYBRID®. This has been implemented at the highly modern technology sites known as Internet City, Media City, and Knowledge Village. These three locations are not only home to regional telecommunications providers, but are also the locality where a number of leading technology enterprises such as Oracle, Cisco Systems, Inc., and the Hewlett-Packard Company have recently chosen to settle.
artec technologies' MULTIEYE-HYBRID® solution makes it possible for the contracting Tecom Investment company to replace its already operative video surveillance system without having to replace the existing infrastructure, recording devices, cable circuits, and around 100 primarily analogue cameras. "Our visionary video surveillance solution enables our customer to continue using his old camera inventory, yet, at the same time, integrate it into a fully modern high-definition camera structure." Thomas Hoffmann, member of the board at artec technologies AG emphasises.
The present solution which combines three recorders for recording video images with artec's MULTIEYE® software is now managed from one central location through the superordinate video management software "VideoCenter II." MULTIEYE® software's variety of interfaces make integration into the extant physical-plant management system simple and effective. The Abu Dhabi firm "Dynamic Security" is now in charge of the delivery and installation of the MULTIEYE® video surveillance solution. The system integrator, who is active in all states of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is also a contractual partner to artec technologies AG in the marketing of the XentauriX® TV search engines and IPTV systems.
