Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - has taken delivery of a state-of-the-art demonstration vehicle which, for the first time, will allow the company to bring its latest NetVu Connected CCTV systems directly to installers and end users in the UK and mainland Europe.
In preparation for its road trip, the 10-metre vehicle has been fitted out with High Definition displays, work benches for training workshops and seating for up to 20 people, with the HD video capabilities of Dedicated Micros' solutions a key focus of its comprehensive suite of CCTV systems.
Products already installed in the vehicle include: CamVu 2000, HighVu Excel, DV-IP RT, DV-IP HD, SD, ICE cameras, the new Oracle dome and NetVu Console. All AD Group's product offerings are also available to view on the vehicle including PatrolVu from TSS, FireVu from D-Tec and FlightVu from AD Aerospace.
Said Pauline Norstrom, Worldwide Head of Marketing at Dedicated Micros: "We made the decision to procure our own, advanced, demonstration vehicle as a result of the overwhelming demand from installers and end users to have hands-on experience of our products outside of a limited number of exhibitions or visiting our offices.
"This large, rapidly deployable vehicle provides us with an invaluable, flexible, resource which complements our already established in-house training capability. Now a training/demonstration room can be readily set up at specific events or at a customer's premises, to fit in with their busy schedule, and being completely autonomous the vehicle does not require an external power supply, meaning that set-up on site can be done independently."
The demonstration vehicle was first deployed successfully during the recent Le Mans Series endurance racing events in Barcelona, Spain; Monza, Italy and Spa, Belgium - in support of AD Group's motorsport programme - and will be making an appearance at the famous Le Mans 24 Hours next month.
